
Demos Katsis is a Corporate Counsel, Founder and Managing Director of KATSIS LLC, Law Firm.
He is specialised in contractual drafting of corporate and commercial agreements, and in consulting on corporate and tax strategies. His main areas of practice are company law, contract law, banking law, construction law, trusts and estate planning, tax and sports law.
Demos Katsis has advised multinational corporations and financial institutions on a wide variety of corporate, commercial and banking issues including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring issues, equity funding, structuring of debt and equity transactions, public offering issues. He has also expertise in financial investment issues.
Demos Katsis holds an LLB degree from the University of Bristol, an LLM degree from the University of Bristol, a Diploma in Professional Legal Skills from City University and a MA from the University of Malta. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association. A number of his articles appear in several magazines. He is a regular speaker in several conferences organised by various organisations.
He was assistant National Rapporteur for Cyprus for the EU Project on Unfair Commercial Practices in the new Member States for the year 2005-2006 undertaken by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and he was also assistant National Rapporteur for Cyprus for the EU Project on Legalisation of Public Documents undertaken by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
Demos Katsis is currently a Professor at Pericles Able Project in Moscow, Russia in relation to trust and foundation law issues.
